Anime Expo 2009 is coming up this weekend, July 2-5, in Los Angeles. And Right Stuf, Inc., the anime producer, distributor, and retailer, as well as Nozomi Entertainment, its production division, have a lot in store for fans. Afro Samura Resurrection: an Industry group effort

Afro Samurai: Resurrection television movie, sequel to Afro Samurai, to air next January on Spike TV. FUNimation has all merchandising rights, and will release the DVD early in 2009. GDH K.K. to reveal the trailer today at Comic-Con International in San Diego, followed by a replay on Spike.com and Afrosamurai.com. Namco Bandai Games will also allow attendees of Comic-Con to play a demo of the Afro Samurai game, due to be released also in 2009.
