The nominees for the 2008 Academy Awards were announced earlier today.  The ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 24th at 8PM Eastern.  However, the WGA has already announced they will not grant a waiver for writers to help script the event, so no one knows if the Oscars will go on as planned or if they'll be reorganized like the Golden Globes were.
