View all articles by Karen L. NewmanI agree that Beth shouldn't be with Alan. But Coop? Come on. Matt and Vanessa were the best May-December couple on the show. I do like Beth and Coop getting more air time, just not together.
Mallet and Marina are still together, but he's out hunting Dinah. Now Mallet and Dinah were hot. I hope they're a couple again.
Unfortunately, Daisy chose to go back to Grady. Guiding Light needs to cast a different girl for Grady, one that's bad. I'd like to see a descendant of a Baur or a Reardon in that role. The show seems to have forgotton its roots. I really expected more of that during the seventy-year anniversary year; that maybe the show would bring back or introduce those types of characters.
More drama is coming back to Guiding Light, and I think the plots are becoming more interesting. The cliffhanger with a sick Reva was great, really wants to make me tune in next week. If the show keeps this up, it should air well into the future.
