In October, the World Tour of this live concert begins in Anaheim, California, bringing a light-and-music show bigger than any rock concert to venues across the country and around the world. A full symphony orchestra and chorus on stage will take the listener through the music that defines these films while scenes play out above and behind them.
Beginning on the west coast, the currently scheduled dates through October are posted at http://www.starwarsinconcert.com/#_tourdates, with more dates to be released as the tour continues.
The two-hour multimedia show is narrated by Anthony Daniels, the actor who portrayed C-3PO in the movie saga.
In a story put out by the Associated Press, Daniels said, "My role is not to be 3P0 in 'Star Wars in Concert'...It is to be the host, to be the narrator. I very simply tell the story in segments. 3P0 certainly features on screen quite a lot, and there are moments on stage when his spirit shines through.
