View all articles by Melissa WilsonFishburne is well-known among genre fans, primarily for his role as Morpheus in the "Matrix" trilogy, but also for being married to screen goddess Gina Torres. (The couple recently announced they are expecting their first child.) Fishburne also starred in the odd SF film "Event Horizon" and the even odder "Apocalypse Now." He has had many more mainstream roles, has been named an Ambassador for the UN for his work with UNICEF, and won Emmys for his role in "Miss Ever's Boys" and his guest role on Tribeca.
