One of the departed cast members from ABC's Lost will be returning next season. E! Online reports that Harold Perrineau will show up in the fourth season, reprising his role as Michael.
The character has been gone since the season two finale, although his son Walt (Malcolm David Kelley) has made a few appearances since then. It is unknown at this time whether Michael will re-appear in the present time on the island, or in a flash-forward to the time when some of the characters manage to leave the island.
ABC has announced that Lost will return in January with the beginning of the end: 48 episodes divided into three seasons to end the series.
