The X-Files vet will not be jumping out of planes for The Bionic Woman after all. Glen Morgan, also known as half of the infamous Morgan and Wong, has left the series, says TV Guide. In his wake, Jason Katims will be a "consultant" on the show instead. Katims is better known as the showrunner and exec producer of NBC's critical darling Friday Night Lights.
He will be splitting his time between projects.
The official statement from NBC: "Glen Morgan has helped create a great template for Bionic Woman but has decided to pursue other endeavors now. We wish him the best. The creative team of David Eick and Jason Smilovic continue as executive producers on Bionic Woman, and we are excited about the new series' debut September 26."
So, what is it with the producer shuffle this season? David Greenwalt left Moonlight, now this. Something in the water?
